The Worlds Smallest Mountain!
When I went to Broken Hill (In July 2012) I went past the worlds smallest mountain near the town of Wycheproof.(witch-y-proof) Here is a map of Wycheproof.

Firstly, we went up the mountain not knowing that it was the worlds smallest mountain. We saw a sign and started reading it and the title was Worlds smallest mountain! Here is what they say on Wikipedia . Here is a photo of me.
Have you been to a special place like
this before?
It was a tiny mountain for sure.

Dear Georgia,
What a surprise I got when I opened your blog. I love your new theme! We’ll have to show the class when we have time.
I didn’t get to see the world’s smallest mountain when I travelled to Broken Hill but I’m sure it would have been very interesting. How tall was it?

Mrs Morris

Dear Mrs Morris,
I have changed my theme for Christmas. No wonder you got surprised.
Which route did you take to Broken Hill? We went this way because when my Dad was a boy, My Grandad worked up there so he went to a Motel and showed it to me. He also took some photos of the Motel.
Here is what I just read on Wikipedia. Standing at 43 metres (141 ft) above the surrounding terrain, Mount Wycheproof has the distinction of being the smallest registered mountain in the world. So I guess it is 43 meters tall.
Thank you for the comment,
Georgia

Dear Georgia,
Thank you for writing back to me. The route we took was through Mildura. Then on the way back we drove through Adelaide. I’d love to go back to Broken Hill again some day.
How interesting to see the place that your grandad used to work. I bet that was interesting for both you and your dad.
Enjoy your weekend,
Mrs Morris
PS – it was nice of you to help Crystal with the widget.

Dear Mrs Morris,
Thank you for writing a comment on my blog! We didn’t get to go in the place, but he worked at a salt works place. It was interesting seeing the hills of salt.
We went up to Sea lake, Mildura, Broken Hill, White Cliffs, Wilcanna, Dubbo, Sydney and Canberra. It was a great trip.
Your student,
Georgia

It is a beautiful place isn’t it. I actually live in Wycheproof and it is quite extrodinary to know just how many people come to our town to see the mount.
With it’s spectacular views no wonder people deive 100′s and 100′s of kms to see it.
